Daily writing prompt
How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

The Origin of the Word “Failure”
The word “failure” comes from the Middle English term failen, which is derived from the Old French fallir, meaning “to fall short” or “to miss.” This, in turn, is taken from the Latin fallere, which means “to deceive” or “to trip up.” Over time, the term evolved to denote the lack of success in achieving a desired outcome.
